Your journey begins upon arrival in Aswan, where a representative meets you at the airport or train station and transfers you directly to the cruise ship. Return to the cruise for lunch and dinner.

After breakfast, the cruise sets sail northward. The first stop is Kom Ombo, where you explore its remarkable twin temple dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris.

An early start takes you to the West Bank of Luxor, where Egypt's New Kingdom pharaohs chose to spend eternity. The Valley of the Kings is the highlight here, a royal necropolis carved deep into the limestone cliffs.

Disembarkation takes place at 08:00 AM. A representative assists with your transfer to Luxor Airport or train station. 

Arrive in Luxor and transfer to the cruise, where you check in around noon and enjoy lunch on board. The afternoon is dedicated to Luxor's East Bank, with visits to the iconic Karnak Temple complex and Luxor Temple.

After an early breakfast, cross to the West Bank for a morning in the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of New Kingdom pharaohs including Tutankhamun.

Breakfast is followed by a visit to the extraordinary Temple of Edfu, one of Egypt's most complete ancient temples, offering remarkable insight into Ptolemaic religious life and architecture.

After breakfast, explore Aswan's highlights: the ancient Unfinished Obelisk still lying in its granite quarry, and the massive Aswan High Dam, which reshaped the entire Nile valley when completed in the early 1970s.

Once your deposit has been received, your cruise price is guaranteed and will not change. Please note that departures during Christmas, New Year, and Easter are subject to a 25% seasonal supplement due to high demand.

To secure your preferred cabin aboard the MS Jaz Senator Nile Cruise, the following payment terms apply:

Standard Departures

• A 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
• The remaining 70% must be paid at least 15 days before you arrive in Egypt.

Christmas, New Year & Easter Departures

For peak holiday sailings:

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
• The remaining 50% balance is due 15 days before arrival.

Once your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation email containing:

• Your confirmed MS Jaz Senator Nile Cruise reservation
• Complete travel itinerary
• Booking voucher
• Digital payment receipt
• Any additional travel documents required before your arrival

Should you need to cancel your cruise, the following cancellation charges apply:

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days.

Please note that certain luxury hotels or third-party suppliers included in your itinerary may have different cancellation conditions. If applicable, these will be clearly stated in your booking confirmation.

Families are always welcome aboard the MS Jaz Senator Nile Cruise.

When sharing the same cabin with two paying adults:

• Children under 2 years: Free of charge
• Children aged 2–5 years: Receive a 75% discount
• Children aged 6–11 years: Receive a 50% discount
• Children aged 12 years and above: Pay the full adult rate

Please note that some cabins or promotional offers may have different child occupancy policies.

Your cruise package includes the most essential travel services; however, the following expenses are not included:

• Room service

The MS Jaz Senator is a five-star boutique Nile cruise ship operated by Jaz Nile Cruises. It sails between Luxor and Aswan, offering private, all-inclusive cruise packages of 3 or 4 nights with guided excursions to Upper Egypt's most important ancient sites.

There are two options: a 3-night cruise departing from Aswan on Mondays, and a 4-night cruise departing from Luxor on Thursdays.

All entrance fees to the sites on the standard itinerary between Luxor and Aswan are included. The only exception is the optional entry to Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings, which carries a separate fee.

Packages start from $1,000 per person. The exact price depends on the season, package duration, and room type selected.
