A representative meets you at Aswan Airport or the train station and transfers you directly to the cruise.

The afternoon is spent visiting Aswan's key landmarks.

After breakfast, the ship sails north toward Kom Ombo, where the temple's unique twin design, honoring both Sobek, the crocodile god, makes for a genuinely fascinating stop.

An early start takes you to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis of Egypt's New Kingdom pharaohs, followed by the striking Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari.

Disembark at 08:00 AM. A representative transfers you to Luxor Airport or the train station.

Check in around noon and enjoy lunch on board before heading to Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East Bank.

Cross to the Valley of the Kings in the morning, then sail south through the historic Esna Lock toward Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

Visit the magnificent Temple of Edfu, then sail to Kom Ombo for its twin-deity temple. Arrive in Aswan in the evening with a festive Galabeya Party on board to mark the cultural journey.

Explore the Unfinished Obelisk and the Aswan High Dam before enjoying a free afternoon to relax or wander Aswan independently. Final dinner and overnight on board.

Your cruise price is guaranteed once your deposit is received. Please note that departures during Christmas, New Year, and Easter are subject to a 25% holiday supplement due to increased demand.

Standard Departures

• A 30% deposit is required to confirm your preferred cabin and sailing date.
• The remaining 70% balance must be paid at least 15 days before you arrive in Egypt.

Christmas, New Year & Easter Departures

For holiday sailings:

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation.
• The remaining 50% balance is due 15 days before arrival.

Once your payment has been processed, we'll send you a confirmation email that includes:

• Your confirmed Jaz Viceroy Nile Cruise reservation
• Your complete travel itinerary
• Booking voucher
• Digital payment receipt
• Any travel documents needed before your trip

If you need to cancel your Jaz Viceroy Nile Cruise, cancellation fees will depend on how far in advance you notify us.

• If you cancel more than 30 days before your arrival, you'll receive a full refund, excluding any bank or transaction fees. 
• Cancellations made 15 to 29 days before arrival will incure a 25% cancellation fee of the total booking price. 
• If you cancel 7 to 14 days before arrival, 50% of the total booking cost will be charged.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival, or in the case of a no-show, are non-refundable, and the full booking amount will be charged.

Approved refunds are usually processed within 14 business days.

Please note that some hotels or special cruise offers may have different cancellation policies. If this applies to your booking, we'll let you know before you confirm your reservation.

The Jaz Viceroy Nile Cruise welcomes families and children.

When sharing a cabin with two full-paying adults:

• Children under 2 years: Stay free
• Children aged 2-5 years: Receive a 75% discount
• Children aged 6-11 years: Receive a 50% discount
• Children aged 12 years and above: Pay the adult rate

Please note that some cabin types or promotional offers may have different child policies.

Your cruise package includes most of the essentials, but you should budget for a few personal expenses, such as:

• Drinks during meals
• Minibar and room service
• Laundry services
• Egypt entry visa
• Internet or local SIM cards
• Optional tours and activities
• Souvenirs and personal shopping
• Tips for guides, drivers, and cruise staff

We recommend carrying some Egyptian Pounds (EGP) for small purchases and tipping.

Tipping is optional but appreciated throughout Egypt.

As a general guide, many travelers choose to tip:

• Tour Guide: $15-20 per day
• Driver & Cruise Crew: $5-10 per day
• Hotel Staff: $1-2 per service

Small bills in USD or EGP are always useful.
